More than 120 colleges and universities, military institutions and test prep companies are sending representatives to the Laguna Beach High School college expo Wednesday, Oct. 14.

Breakout sessions on test taking and junior colleges at 6 p.m. precede the college expo in the Dugger Gym at 7 p.m.

Students will learn about admission requirements, on-campus housing options, fields of study, athletics, scholarships and financial aid opportunities from colleges ranging from Fashion Institute of Design to Harvard to West Point.

All local high school students and families are welcome, LBHS Scholarship Coordinator Lynn Gregory said in a statement. “Our goal is to broaden their horizons and introduce them to representatives who can potentially be the first people to look at their college applications,” she said.
