Students Can Take PSAT Without Fees

Thanks to the generosity of the high school PTA and the school district, every 11th-grader can take the Preliminary SAT, allowing students to qualify for consideration as national merit scholars, on Wednesday, Oct. 17, during the school day.

On Saturday, Oct. 20, students in grades 9-10 also have the opportunity to practice their test taking skills with a mock PSAT free of charge.

The mock test allows students to identify their strengths and weaknesses in reading, math, and writing and to help them better prepare for the SAT, said LBHS PTA President Kathleen Fay.

Check in for juniors’ taking the PSAT is 7:30 a.m. outside of the Artists’ Theatre.
