Riddle Field, home to the AAA and majors division champions, has just received a major overhaul with the help and support of the Angels Baseball Foundation head groundskeeper, Barney Lopas, Mannie Adams of Sports Field Services and the city of Laguna Beach.
Eagle Scout, Isaac Shields, a junior at LBHS, is building storage units for inside the dugouts.
To maintain these field improvements, Laguna Beach Little League will hold a fundraiser Thursday, March 20, from 6 – 11 p.m. at Aliso Creek Inn and Golf Course, courtesy of Little League fan Mark Christy. Tickets are $50 per person and include dinner and beverages.
