Laguna Beach High School’s surf team wrapped up a perfect season at the Scholastic Surf Series final at Oceanside Harbor last weekend.
In team competition with breezy, bumpy conditions Laguna Beach was up against El Toro and cleaned up with nearly every team member advancing into the individual rounds.
Zach Levine won in the bodyboard, stepping in for Blair Conklin.
Tobie Grierson took first place overall in boys shortboard and third in longboard.
Cameron DePfyffer took the big win in longboard and second in shortboard, finishing the season rated first in both surfing and longboard.
Eric Siegrist took fourth in both shortboard and longboard. Austin Silvers also finished fourth in shortboard.
It was a big day for Marlee Grosher, who took first in longboard and second in shortboard.
Coco Putnum took fourth in the shortboard and fifth in the longboard.
Coco finished rated first in longboard, and teammate Blair Conklin finished first in bodyboard.
