Last week at my gym, the Art of Fitness, I casually mentioned to an employee that I volunteered at a the Laguna Resource Center’s
food pantry. A week later, the gym called me to pick up hundreds of pounds of food donated by its members, employees and owners.
On behalf of the financially struggling families who depend on our food pantry to make ends meet every month, I want to thank those
who participated in this spontaneous gesture of kindness and generosity.
