The Ocean Institute’s mobil classroom visited the Boys and Girls Club and Even Start preschool last month, made possible by the Hearts of Montage, a philanthropic program of resort employees. The institute focused on educating students about creatures in tide pools, their continued protection, and the importance of leaving them undisturbed.
The Clean Water Now! Coalition held its final quarterly adopt-a-beach cleanup last Saturday, Dec. 10, concluding 11 consecutive years organizing cleanups.
