Baseball fans can save time and money by taking Metrolink trains to Angels Stadium this season.

Metrolink and the Orange County Transportation Authority have teamed up to offer special weeknight roundtrip train service to and from Angels’ games from Los Angeles Union Station and the Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo station. Roundtrip tickets for the special train service cost $7 for the general public and $6 for seniors. All valid Metrolink fare media will also be accepted on these trains.

Heading to the game, a southbound train from Los Angeles and a northbound train from the Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo station will depart at 5:50 p.m. and make all regular stops on Metrolink’s Orange County line. Both trains are scheduled to arrive approximately 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the game and will depart 30 minutes after the last out from the Anaheim Metrolink station, in the parking lot of Angel Stadium of Anaheim,

  1. Funny, so from Laguna you’d drive to Tustin, then take the train? Might as well drive the last couple miles to Anaheim at that point….

Would be great if one day there was a light rail track along PCH and Laguna canyon road, or at least a wide safe bike path, would at least give people some options to driving…

    • From Laguna you could catch the train at the Irvine or Laguna Niguel stations and avoid all the stadium traffic coming and going.
