Tardy Policy Gets High Marks

The high school’s new tardy policy is proving successful as the number of late students has dwindled to almost none, faculty representative Linda Barker reported to the school board.

Previously, tardy students simply showed up late to class and it was up to the teacher to report the behavior. Now, any student who is not in class by the second bell must go directly to the attendance office to pick up a tardy pass before heading to their class.
