The Woman’s Club Tarnished Treasures lunch provides an opportunity to buy gifts at spectacular prices because the items are donated. The event takes place at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 11. Admission is $35 for club members and $40 for non-members.
Shoppers can expect to be tempted by holiday decorations, art, jewelry, toys, wearable clothing and household goods, said lunch chair Cheryl Kinsman. Donations may be dropped off weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Kinsman & Kinsman, 32355 Coast Highway, through Dec. 10. Larger household items such as furniture cannot be accepted, she said.
Proceeds will go towards gifts for needy families.

Sip ‘n’ Stroll in Neighborhood Shopping District
Participating merchants in the south end of the Hip District, between Mountain Streets and Bluebird Canyon Drive, will be offering in store festivities, special promotions and fun things to sip and eat Saturday, Nov. 21, during regular business hours.
For every purchase at participating stores shoppers will be entered into a raffle, now valued at $700.
