‘Leadership Coach’ Tries a New Venue

Laguna Beach Books hosts Cliff Shiepe, self-styled leadership coach and author of “Cliff Falls,” for a book-signing event at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 20, 1200 S. Coast Highway.

“Cliff Falls” is a novel about the exploited child television star of an 80s sitcom who takes advantage of a fire to disappear and escape from his life in the spotlight. His self-imposed exile ends after 15 years when he is discovered by a determined photographer. He lands in jail, where a motivational pastor finds him and offers him a deal.

Shiepe, a USC graduate, began his career in production at the Walt Disney Company. He has since consulted numerous churches nationwide, co-created three ministries in Hawaii and California and coached entertainment executives and pastors on brand management, synergy, and visionary leadership.
