Donna Lilly, the past state president of the American Association of University Women, hailed the successes of the Laguna Beach branch at a lunch marking its 45 years of service.
She challenged the group to maintain momentum at the May 12 event, which included a champagne toast and the election of officers for 2012.
Co-founders Katie Haven and Jean Brotherton were named honorees for the branch’s annual donation to the national organization. Carol Reynolds added to the festivities at the piano with some original AAUW lyrics. For more info: visit aauw-lagunabeach.org.
