There will be a free, half-hour, docent-led tour of the recently renovated Laguna Presbyterian Church, at the corner of Forest Avenue and Second Street, beginning at 11:15 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 2. Learn about the history and architecture of the church, including acts about design elements, its foundation and its Spanish mission style sanctuary.

The $11 million restoration project’s intent was to preserve the 1927 building from earthquakes, flooding and leaking. Project architect John Loomis of 30th St. Architects in Costa Mesa, also designed the church renovation of Mission San Juan Capistrano.

Guests are welcome to attend the 10 a.m. worship service as well. For further information, contact the church office at 494-7555. Docent tours are scheduled on the first Sunday of each month.
