The Laguna Beach American Legion conducted their Veterans Day ceremony for an audience of over 80 to recognize all veterans for their service Friday, Nov. 11.

The ceremony on the front lawn at Legion Hall included the Laguna Beach Police Department color guard bearing the state and national flags and the singing of the national anthem by Rosie Morreale. Mayor Steve Dicterow brought greetings from the City of Laguna Beach.

Legion leader Dave Connell gave a brief history of Veterans Day and its meaning. Resident and former Navy officer Howard Hills recounted the service of two other veterans.
