Pete Obradovich, who leads the Breakers in kills, was named to the all-tournament team at the 42nd annual Dos Pueblos Invitational where Laguna lost to the eventual champion, top ranked Oak Park, in the semifinals.

Breakers finished tied for third this past weekend in the 42nd Annual Dos Pueblos tournament featuring 35 teams from three CIF sections and Hawaii competing at the UCSB Thunderdome. Breakers had little trouble in pool play defeating Santa Ynez 25-14, 25-18, Granada Hills 25-8, 25-19, Rio Mesa 25-17, 25-16, St Francis/La Canada 25-16, 25-23. In the playoffs, Breakers had to play two single set playoff matches to 42 to avoid their opponents potentially exceeding the 15-sets per day SSCIF restriction.

In the first playoff, Laguna had an easy time against Notre Dame of Sherman Oaks, winning 42-24, but struggled against Oak Park 42-21. Against Oak Park, Pete Obradovich had six kills on seven attempts and led Laguna in hitting and digs for the tournament. Obradovich was named to the all-tournament team for the second year in a row. Enzo Sadler was another bright spot leading the squad in serving.
