Girls Sand Volleyball (6-1)

Varsity defeated Saddleback Valley Christian on Friday, April 7, at Doheny. No. 1’s : Kendyl Brennan and Peri Brennan won 21-16, 21-13. No. 2’s: Lauren LaMontagne and Kylee Matheson lost 19-21, 21-18, 11-15. No. 3’s: Kaden Matheson and Katie Hayden won 21-18, 21-16

Breakers defeated J Serra 3-0 on Tuesday, April 4, at the Lion’s campus. 3-0. No. 1’s:Kendyl Brennan and Peri Brennan won 21-14, 21-11. No. 2’s: Lauren LaMontagne and Hallie Carballo won 21-15, 21-14. No. 3’s: Callista Wulff and Kylee Matheson won 21-13, 21-17.

Breakers are off next week and closeout the regular season on Thursday, April 27, with J Serra at the Main Beach courts.

Boys Volleyball (6-2, 4-0)

Last week Laguna traveled to Estancia (6-4, 3-2) on Thursday, April 6, and easily defeated the Eagles 25-13, 25-16, 25-17 giving the attending 14 players plenty of play time. Pete Obradovich led Laguna with 10 kills on 12 attempts to lead the hitters while Enzo Sadler served 18 times with four aces. Cole Paxson dished out 34 assists, seven digs, and an ace.

This week Laguna traveled to Saddleback on Tuesday, April 11, and will travel to Lakewood for a non-league encounter with the Lancers. Laguna is off next week for Spring Break and will be at home on Tuesday, April 24, hosting Calvary Chapel (8-5, 3-1)
