Girls Volleyball
Regular season opens play, also next Wednesday, Sept. 6, at Dugger Gym. Breakers compete against Corona del Mar, coached by former Laguna assistant Steve Astor in the 51st best-of-five set match between the two schools.
JV starts at 4 p.m. followed by varsity about 5:15.
Laguna and CdM JV tied for third at the Queens Court tournament last month, so a battle is expected. Next Friday and Saturday, Sept. 8-9, is the 38th annual Dave Mohs/Orange County Championships. After that Breakers are at JSerra on Tuesday, Sept. 12.
Boys Sand Volleyball
The fall schedule should start in late September.
