Jeopardy-Taping Excursion
A day excursion starting at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, to join the studio audience for two episodes of “Jeopardy.” Lunch on your own during a short stop at the Howard Hughes Promenade. Additional passenger pick-ups will be made on the way to Culver City. The excursion costs $48, which includes driver and tour director gratuity.

Free Tax Preparation Service
IRS trained volunteers provide free basic tax assistance to those with middle to low income, and with simple tax returns, every Wednesday and Thursday morning until April. Call today for a free appointment.

Ballroom Dancing
Beginning lessons on Mondays at 1 p.m. and intermediate lessons at 2 p.m. Each session costs $7 per person. Both couples and singles are welcome. Wear appropriate shoes.

Legacy Letter Writing Workshop
A legacy letter-writing workshop will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesdays March 23 and 30 and April 6, 13 and 20.
This workshop provides the inspiration and the tools you need to create your own legacy letter to let your loved ones and to document your values, beliefs, life lessons, blessings and hopes-for future generations.
No writing experience necessary and class enrollment is limited to 12. The cost is $75 for the entire series, and prepayment is required.

Computer Assistance
Marianna Spoelder will offer basic computer assistance Thursday afternoon from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. She can answer questions about the internet, navigating websites, using all features of email, using all features of word processing, file management, and digital photo basics (for assistance with digital photos, you must bring your camera, memory chip and cable connector). The cost is $10 per session or $20 for three sessions.

Driver Safety Course
This driver safety refresher course will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 31. Course participants may be eligible to receive a discount on auto insurance premiums. Attendees must have already taken the eight-hour refresher course within the past three years.

Alzheimer’s Support Group
The Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group meets from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. on the first Wednesday of every month for an informational meeting and informal discussion. Strategies will be shared for dealing with loved ones who are affected by the disease.

Braille Institute Support Group
The Susi Q is interested in forming a support group for those individuals suffering from some form of vision loss. If you are interested in attending a support group that can help you manage the challenges of daily living activities due to sight loss, please call the Susi Q today.

Belly Dancing
Offered by local belly dance instructor, performer and troupe leader Jheri St. James in an eight-week series at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday mornings. Class cost has been reduced. Beginning classes at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays. Drop in for one class or sign up for the series.

Demystifying Twitter
The Computer Club will make a free presentation about Twitter at 1 p.m. Friday, March 11.

Interactive Spanish Course

The Cervantes Institute of Spain offers interactive Spanish classes This is an individualized 16-week course, which can be started at any time. The cost is $150.

The Pain-Free Body
Exercise class at 1 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays. The cost is $10 per session for drop ins; $36 for a set of four sessions; and $64 for a set of eight sessions.

Coffee Talk Support Group

There will be a Coffee Talk Support Group from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Mondays, March 14 and 28, facilitated by Laguna residents Kay Wenger and Debbie Seitz where concerns, coping skills, and helping tips are shared.
