The Nature Reserve of Orange County, in collaboration with other agencies, is now conducting an aerial weed survey during daylight hours through June 20. Between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., a small, low-flying helicopter will document and map the distribution of over 30 weed species located in Laguna Coast Wilderness Park, Crystal Cove State Park, Aliso and Wood Canyons Wilderness Park, and the James Dilley Greenbelt Preserve and adjacent areas.

The resulting information will provide details about the abundance and distribution of invasive weeks and help land managers evaluate future weed management actions.
