Girls water Polo tuned up for their upcoming defense of their D-I title with their third straight Foothill Fall Fling crown, the last pre-season even before the regular season opens on December 3. The event featured all the top Southern California teams and offer a real look at who will be the key challenges for the Laguna title run.
Breakers on Sunday, November 9 beat Corona del Mar 13-4, San Marcos (SB) 11-2 both at the Santa Margarita CHS pool to advance to the finals at Foothill High School where they defeated Orange Lutheran 9-6. Scoring for the Breakers were Bella Baldridge- 2, Haley Evans – 2, Sophie Legget -3, Sophia Lucas – 2. Holly Parker was stellar in the cage with 10 saves.
Breakers were missing key starter Mia Salvini who will be back for the regular season.
