A psychologist and former Catholic priest leads a workshop for people struggling with unresolved grief on Saturday, Dec. 21, at Laguna Beach’s Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 421 Cypress Dr.
Anyone who is interested may attend the free 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. workshop “Healing Our Losses,” which is an introduction to the more in-depth program developed by Jack Miller.
Miller’s Phoenix Project is a 12-week training program for people interested in his methods. A session is scheduled for Jan. 19-April 5 in Mission Viejo. Those considering participating in the training are asked to initially attend the free one-day seminar.
Miller was recently profiled in, “The Alchemy of Grief: The Life Story of Dr. Jack Miller and His Creation of The Phoenix Project,” a biography published in August by Deirdre Newman, a former reporter for the Daily Pilot.
