Disciple Writes on Laughter’s Leaders
Jeffrey Briar, director of Laguna’s Laughter Yoga Institute, has published “Laughter Revolutionaries: Making the World Safe for Hilarity.” The book features interviews with Drs. Patch Adams, Madan Kataria and Gita Suraj-Narayan, as well as others in the field of therapeutic laughter.
Briar is a master trainer for the Dr. Kataria School of Laughter Yoga is teaches writing at Irvine Valley College. His latest book is available at www.LYInstitute.org and on Amazon.com.
Library Seeks the Town’s Best Phrase Makers
Laguna Beach Library is looking for original poems for its 14th Annual Poetry Contest.
Winners, in categories from preK to adult, will see their poems published in the library’s annual booklet and receive a prize courtesy of the Friends of the Laguna Beach Library in June.
Poets can enter up to three poems until April 30. Entries are available at the library, or email your poem as a Word attachment to [email protected] with your name, address, phone number, and grade level; or adult.
