Registration for Laguna Playhouse’s Youth Theatre Classes, for kids 9 through 17, is Jan. 5.
These 8 to 10 week classes start on Jan. 10 and are held Monday through Thursday. They are taught by working theatre professionals. The classes culminate March 19 – 31 with a final performances for family and friends.
Classes include: Fun with Acting (an introductory acting class for ages 6 – 8 years), Acting Fundamentals (an acting class for ages 9 – 11 years), Intermediate Acting (for ages 11 – 12 years), Acting for Teens (an acting & improvisation class for teens ages 13-17), and a Saturday morning Musical Theatre Workshop (for ages 9-12).
Class sizes are limited and fill quickly. Class costs range from $160 to $225. A limited number of partial scholarships are available.
