Coach John Shanahan’s third season at the helm of the Breakers gets underway in a few weeks as Laguna’s opening game is Friday, Aug. 24, at 7 p.m. at Guyer Field, where they will face off with Hoover from Glendale. The Tornadoes were 2-8 last season and should be a competitive test for Laguna.
