Last Sunday about 150 friends, students, and parents attended a retirement party for Mark Dressler, who has taught theater in the Laguna Beach school district for 25 years. My family started attending his plays long before our kids started high school, and I still see almost every show, even though our kids have graduated from college now. Mr. Dressler put everything he had into a production, and it always showed onstage. So many ex-students had wonderful memories of their high school theater experience with Mr. Dressler and some of these memories were captured in a tribute video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n2N6b-FYj98).
Many of us will miss Mr. Dressler, but will never forget his enthusiasm, encouragement, and love for his students. Thanks, Mark!
