The Joy of Giving Market taking place at Neighborhood Congregational Church, 340 St. Ann’s Drive, is a free holiday bazaar where the public can purchase “gifts” as donations in the name of a friend or loved one.

Market hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14,  and 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.   Sunday, Dec. 15.

All proceeds go directly to the designated organizations such as: Campaign for Female Education, Walk for Water, Safe Ride Home for girls in Afghanistan, HIV Prevention Soccer Camp and many more. Each gift comes with a gift card to be presented to the “gift” recipient .

Bring old cell phones to donate to R Star Foundation and old eyeglasses to donate to Eye Care International.

Last year, the alternative market raised more than $5,000 supporting local and global organizations. Contact ncclaguna.org for additional information.
