Exhibit Offers a Sneak Peak of Summer Artists

Works of newly juried Festival of Art artists will be exhibited through June 10 at the Wells Fargo Bank’s gallery space in Laguna Beach.

 

The public is invited to a free reception for the artists Saturday April 21, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., 260 Ocean Ave.

Singer-Songwriter’s CD Debut

Local singer-songwriter Kristen Noel launches her debut CD “Many Rooms” at Ocean Avenue Restaurant, 237 Ocean Ave., on Thursday, April 19, at 7:30 p.m.

 

Noel for 15 years has taught kids with disabilities and only recently began writing music and playing acoustic guitar. “I love being a teacher. I love being an artist and expressing my passion through singing and songwriting. I hold both sacred and am blessed to be able to teach and create music.”

 

 

 

Beatifying Broadway Up For Grabs

 

Laguna Beach is seeking applications from Southern California artists with proven experience in public art to undertake a $35,000 sculpture and or $65,000 artist designed handrail and fence on Broadway Street, one of three entrances into town.

 

The deadline for submissions is Monday, May 7, and applications must be made on-line at www.lagunabeachcity.slideroom.com.

 

Be a Part of The Pageant

 

The Pageant of the Masters seeks male volunteers to participate in this year’s show, “The Genius”.

 

Men between the height of 5’5” and 6’4” are needed as cast members in the living pictures, staged July 7 through Aug.  31. No theater experience is necessary.
