The event is free, as is the trolley service. At any gallery, pick up an Art Walk brochure that includes a map and features the evening’s special events.

“Hop from gallery to gallery enjoying the artwork of featured artists along the way. It is a lot of fun,” said First Thursdays Art Walk president Rebecca Barber.

See artists in action and sharing their insights, such as Anne Moore talking about printmaking at Sandstone Gallery, Louis Longi demonstrating the lost wax method to create sculpture at DeBilzan Gallery, resident artists at Studio 7 north and south painting, and photographer Clark Little at his eponymous gallery sharing his latest shots.

A multitude of galleries from downtown to Gallery Row to Bluebird to Laguna Canyon Road open their doors. At Studio Arts Gallery, view new ceramic paintings by Mike Tauber while listening to music by Jason Feddy. Stop by Seven-Degrees for an exhibition featuring painter Ron Pastucha. Jazz singer-songwriter Sam Curo performs at the Cottage Gallery. Saltfineart Juxtaposes Works of Three Photographers

Saltfineart presents “Panoramas,” an exhibit showcasing the work of three female photographers who gently chide the idea of a panorama as an unbroken view. The images of Cecilia Paredes, Ana Mercedes Hoyos and Cinthya Soto, offer visions and vistas camouflaged, dimensions foiled, and cultures revealed. Panoramas runs May 5 through June 20, with an opening reception for the artists from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, May 5.

Saltfineart initiates a visual conversation between these impressive artists who have 20-, 30- and 50-year careers, respectively.

While each of these artists’ images are a must-see on their own, it is the juxtaposition of the three that creates the most interesting view.

Saltfineart is located at 1492 S. Coast Highway, Unit 3, and is open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information, call 949-715-5554 or visit www.saltfineart.com.
