Ashlee Fletcher, author of the children’s book “My Dog, My Cat,” will read at 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 27, at Laguna Beach Books, 1200 S. Coast Highway.
Feel free to bring your kids along to hear the author describe differences between her dog and cat in this bright new picture book. The story ends on a delightfully sweet note when the author reveals what her dog and cat, who don’t always get along, have in common a love of pizza and their owner.
Fletcher, a native of Las Vegas, attended Laguna College of Art & Design, majoring in illustration. This is her first book.
