Laguna’s final regular season contest was rained out last week and the team’s league win streak run at 48 straight will be resumed next season.
The Division 4 section playoffs begin at 3 p.m. on Friday, May 22 at Skipper Carrillo Field facing either Century (16-9) or Colton (14-11) . Should Laguna win, the second round is Tuesday, May 26, and the quarterfinals on Friday, May 29. 2015 is Laguna’s seventh straight trip to the playoffs and the program’s 11th since first making the post season in 1952. Breakers lost to last year’s Division 4 champion Torrance 4-3 in the semifinals.
