Blue Water Concert Series Makes Waves

The Pawn Shop Kings will be the first to take advantage of a Blue Water Music Festival concert series kicking off from 6-10 p.m. on Saturday, May 23, at Neighborhood Congregational Church.

The series on the fourth Saturday of each month is designed to showcase original artists and will take place in Bridge Hall, 340 St. Ann’s Dr.

Brothers Joel and Scott Owen will be preceded on stage by Nate Hancock and Rocky’s Revival.

Tickets are $10- $45 includes a two CD Blue Water “Harmony” compilation album. Upcoming artists include Nate Hancock and Rocky’s Revival.

Mozambique Opens New Dining Area

Mozambique will reopen its main level dining room, the Durban Bar & Grill, this summer for dining and private events, the Laguna Beach restaurant announced.

The restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with Portuguese and South African influences will offer dining on three levels: a lower level dining room and Durban Bar & Grill; the mid level Shabeen bar, sound stage and patio; and the upper Veranda rooftop deck.

The restaurant located on 1740 S. Coast Highway is open daily.
