To celebrate its 10th year in business, Laguna Beach Books hosts its own anniversary party at 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, and invites attendance by readers, authors and fans alike.

Book Shop Owner Receives Top Shelf Honors at Library Dinner
Independent bookstore owner Jane Hanauer opened Laguna Beach Books 10 years ago, amid a challenging era for retailers where online sales have begun to take over.
Hanauer will share her stories from the frontline at The Friends of the Laguna Beach Library dinner, beginning at 5:45 p.m. in the library, Friday, Sept. 16.
