Laguna surprised the Southern Division with a very strong 11th place among the 20 schools competing in the team tournament held Monday, May 16, at Mile Square Golf Course in Fountain Valley. Breakers shot 406 overall, led by Kyle Sharp, who shot 76, followed by Max Brown, Will Uzelac, and Adam Mundy, all at 82 . Chase Gioffredi completed the team scoring with an 84.
Among the teams finishing behind Laguna were Villa Park at 408 and Newport Harbor at 410. Long Beach Wilson won the event with a sizzling 347.
