The top four players in Orange Coast League teams participated in the Southern Individuals this past Monday, May 7, at Skylinks in Long Beach with Kyle Sharp tying for 18thwith six other golfers at 73 and advancing on a sudden death playoff. He was one of 60 players to participate in the SS CIF individual championship finals held on Thursday, May 17. The other participants for Laguna at the Southern Division Regionals were Ben Sharp – 80, Chase Gioffredi – 81, and Dante Fornaro – 83. 117 golfers were at the regional event.
The team divisional tournament was held on Monday, May 14 at Mile Square with Laguna finishing 15th out of the 20 teams competing. Laguna scores were Kyle Sharp – 75, Chase Gioffredi – 80, Ben Sharp – 84, Gus Morck – 83, and Miles Stripling 94.
Breakers finished sixth among next year’s Sunset League teams, which should place the Breakers in the Sunset Wave Division for next season.
