John Grayden shot a 74 to finished tied for 23rd in the Southern Section CIF Southern Division individuals played this past Monday at Skylinks in Long Beach. 116 golfers competed with the top 20 advancing to the Southern Section individual finals. Grayden missed the cut by a stroke.
Last week at Skylinks Grayden shot a first round 69 but struggled on the final day finishing second to three-time league champion Daniel Dimaculangen from Calvary for the Orange Coast League title. Grayden was the only Laguna golfer to finish in the top six to earn first team all-league honors. Five Laguna golfers earned second team honors: Drake Dvorak, Max Brown, Kyle Sharp, Ben Sharp and Will Uselac.
Next Monday, May 18, the Breakers will compete in the Southern Division team championships at Mile Square
