As expected, Laguna easily defeated second place Estancia (4-2, 4-6) on Monday, April 18, by the score of 17-1 to clinch at-least a tie for the league title, Laguna’s ninth straight and 43rd in 82 seasons of competition. Last Friday, April 15, Laguna defeated Palm Springs 14-4 on the local courts with Ryan Gee sweeping his three singles matches 6-4, 6-0, 6-0 and Laguna’s doubles taking eight of nine from the visiting Indians.
Breakers next major match is a non-league encounter at Dana Hills on Monday, April 25, and a match with St Margaret’s at home on Wednesday, April 27.
