Laguna played OC # 7 El Toro tough last Thursday at the local pool with the Chargers leading only at 1-0 and in the final minute of the contest. Jakob Colliday and Jeff Rubino led the hosts with three goals each while Colliday added three assists and four steals. Gordon Pike had 10 saves and three steals in the cage. Breakers are seeded 17th in the 32-team South Coast Water Polo tournament and open with Villa Park this past Thursday at Newport Harbor.

The league showdown is this coming Wednesday at home when Laguna faces off with Costa Mesa at 3:15 PM. Admission is free.
