Breakers Still in the Hunt for Playoff Spots

Soccer: boys are Monday, Feb. 16 after noon; girls after 1 p.m. Seven divisions. Boys are D-4, girls are D-5.

 

Boys Soccer (7-6-3, 3-1-2)

The soccer teams continue their hunt for a playoff spot this season. The boys split last week dropping a 2-0 decision on Wednesday to league leading Godinez but topped Costa Mesa 3-0 on Friday, Jan. 30. The team was to host Estancia at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 4 in the battle for second place and a lock for a playoff spot.

Girls Soccer (6-6-4, 4-2-0)

Bill Rolfing’s girls soccer squad won both games last week defeating Godinez 2-0 and Costa Mesa 3-0.

The team hosts first place Estancia on Tuesday and travel to Saddleback on Thursday.
