I walk a lot and our city is becoming one giant ash tray. I see cigarette butts everywhere. In fact, we’re becoming one giant trash can as well.
Can nothing be done to eradicate all the butts and garbage? (Do you know that it takes 30 years for a cigarette to disintegrate in the ocean?) You better check the facts on that one.
I’ve tried picking up that cigarette butts and trash, but it’s back the next day. Could we have a policeman or one of their helpers write tickets for littering? It would have to be for the beach as well as the town.
