Laguna Beach High School senior Bailey Romatoski hit all the right notes. The self-promoting singer, songwriter, piano teacher, and web/graphic designer, was recently named this year’s recipient of the Laguna Beach Business Club Entrepreneurial Scholarship.
She will receive $1,000 towards tuition at the Art Institute of California, where she plans to earn a degree in industrial design and start a company of her own.
“We were looking for a student with a track record of entrepreneurial drive, successes, resilience, and just as importantly, compassion for others. Bailey had all those qualities and more,” said Melissa Almon, the club’s scholarship committee member.
