Re: moving the bus terminal to village entrance. Elizabeth Pearson sent an email saying the bus terminal will stay where it’s at and will not be relocated to village entrance. Toni Iseman sent an email saying she is no longer in favor of moving it because big buses cannot make the turns it would require if relocated to the village entrance.

What are the plans for public transit as SPECIFIED in the newly revised Circulation Element, LB General Plan? The CE should specify the city policy for OCTA bus service, or what public transit should accomplish in Laguna. The recommended bus system design comes from staff reporting and consultant recommendations. The council members should enforce policy decisions like this one: 5B Encourage the use of public transportation. The council should not be making design decisions, that is what we pay consultants for.
