Seeing Central Village Homes as an Insider.

A look inside one of the contemporary homes on this weekend’s tour.

The 39th annual Village Laguna Charm House Tour, scheduled for Sunday, May 15, features six of Laguna’s “most interesting” homes located within the central village.

One dramatic, contemporary home boasts an intimate pool bar, a lap pool and a lower level lawn that served as the location for filming “Mirror Image,” a soon-to-be-released thriller.

Specially chartered buses will pick up participants at the Festival of Arts grounds, 650 Laguna Canyon Road, and will circulate among the homes and grounds throughout the afternoon. The first bus departs at noon and the last bus will leave at 3 p.m. Homes will be open until 5 p.m.

Tickets are $40 each pre-sale and $45 on the day of the event, if tickets are still available. Tickets can be obtained by calling (949) 472-7503, visiting www.villagelaguna.org or at the following shops: Animal Crackers for Pets (30822 S. Coast Highway), Laguna Nursery (1370 S. Coast Highway), Coast Pet Supplies (880 N. Coast Highway), Copy & Print Center (240 Beach St.), Cottage Furnishings (802 S. Coast Highway), Fawn Memories (384 Forest Avenue), Hotel Laguna (425 S. Coast Highway), La Casa del Camino (1289 S. Coast Highway), Laguna Beach Books (1200 S. Coast Highway), Monarch Bay Optometry (13 Monarch Bay Plaza), Silver Images (311 Ocean Avenue), and at Rock Martin Custom Jewelry (268 Forest Avenue).

Proceeds benefit the politically active organization that aims to conserve village character.
