Sapphire, At School
Sapphire at School, an offshoot of Laguna Beach’s Sapphire restaurant, began delivering fresh and healthy meals to students of St. John’s Episcopal School in Rancho Santa Margarita beginning with the school year.
Begun in 2007 by Sapphire’s Chef Azmin Ghahreman, Sapphire at School provides students and faculty with nutritious alternatives to the standard processed food traditionally served in cafeterias. Currently, Sapphire at School works with six schools and delivers meals to more than 3,500 students daily.
“We’re thrilled to provide St. John’s Episcopal School with top-quality meals that are both wholesome and appealing to students,” said Ghahreman.
To ensure the highest standards, Sapphire at School is overseen by a nutritional board comprised of doctors, dietitians, nutritionists, parents, chefs and educators.
