Ten Boys Make Plans for School Year

Cebreros, co-president of 10 Boys Who Care, set a goal of presenting $2,500 scholarships to a male and female athlete at Laguna Beach High School for the coming school year.

They have a second goal of raising $500 more to help another school in their league that needs extra funds to enable students to participate in a sport, says an announcement from co-president Sam Reynolds. Last year, the group contributed $500 to Godinez High School.

The group, started four years ago, began by planning for their yard sale fundraiser in January, buoyed by donations from families and merchant Jon Madison of Madison Square Garden, says Mason Lebby, fundraising co-chair.
