Little Chefs Cook Up Snacks
SEEDs holds its Little Chefs cooking class for children ages 5 to 10 on Saturday, Feb. 16 from 10 a.m. to noon at The Basement Table, in a Top of the World home.
The hands-on cooking with Chef Linda Elbert teaches children home recipes for snacks and simple dishes, and puts emphasis on seasonal produce from local growers.

Scholar-athlete-musician Earns Rotary’s Spotlight
The Rotary Club of Laguna Beach recently honored Morgan Lebby as the Laguna Beach High School’s student of the month.
Morgan is an AP Scholar with Distinction, a National Merit Scholar semi-finalist, and won awards in tennis and cross country. He also plays saxophone in the jazz ensemble and is the drum major for the high school marching band.
He hopes to attend Caltech, majoring in chemical engineering or chemistry.
He was honored with a certificate of recognition and will receive a scholarship at the Honors Convocation at the end of this school year.
Local Makes Deans List
Chloe Rose Cunningham, a junior art and art history major at Dickinson College in Carlisle, Penn., has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2012 semester.
A graduate of Laguna Beach High School, she is the daughter of Leslie Cunningham of Laguna Beach and Gary Cunningham of Lake Isabella, Calif.
All students earning a position on the dean’s list must have a grade point average of 3.7 or above.
