Thurston’s Students Present the Past

Alden Kramer with her grandmother, Diane Greene.

The annual tradition of Thurston’s oral history presentations brought the past to life with funny stories, interesting bits of advice and amazing illustrations from peoples’ lives March 26-28.

The oral history project was organized by the sixth-grade language arts teachers. Families and students had lunch together on campus and then listened to the presenting students’ stories about their interview subjects.
