Long Le.

School district technology technician Long Le, selected as classified employee of the year, is also one of six finalists for a similar award by the county’s Education Department.

“Unfailingly helpful, courteous, and amiable, he is able to deal with complexity and to make the complex appear simple,” added  Nancy Hubbell, assistant superintendent of instructional services.

Le will be honored with the finalists May 3 and recognized May 8 at the local school board meeting.

The event raised $5,000 for Coffee Break’s mission, bringing monthly speakers to a community forum. Supporters include grants from Schoolpower and the Laguna Beach Community Foundation.
