Budding Scientist Recognized
Andrew Couse has been named November student of the month by the Laguna Beach Rotary Club.
Andrew is currently studying AP classes in calculus, biology, macroeconomics and advanced chemical research.
He was part of the team that won the TedX Orange Coast Teen Challenge, received a National Merit Commended Student Award and the AP Scholar Award. He is a member of the Lemelson-MIT Inventeam and the Technology Club founder.
After graduation, Andrew plans to major in the sciences and earn his Ph.D. with a goal of a career in the forensic science field.
Career Fair Assists Seniors in Planning Futures
The Laguna Beach High School Community College and Career Technical Education Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 4, in the high school library.
Students can learn about admission requirements, timelines and costs as well as degrees, certifications and career training.
