Cheerleaders Welcome Newcomers
Girls and boys, in kindergarten to eighth grade, are invited to learn a cheer and chant with the award-winning Laguna Beach cheer team at a clinic Saturday, Oct. 3.
Registration for the half-day clinic starts at 8:30 a.m. in the Dugger Gym facing St. Anne’s Drive. The cost is $60 to $65.
Participants will join cheerleaders at the football game Friday, Oct. 9 when the Breakers take on Costa Mesa.

Wyland Launches Mural Contest
The Wyland Foundation of Laguna Beach invites school classes in grades K-12 to enter their art and mural contest about coasts and climate.
The theme is intended to broaden understanding about human activities that contribute to climate change. The winners will receive art supplies and a signed Wyland artwork. Schools may register multiple classes at wyland foundation.org.
