Join OC Parks and the Laguna Canyon Foundation on Saturday, Oct. 13, from 1 to 4 p.m. for a special weekend at the Nix Center, 18751 Laguna Canyon Rd., featuring “Amazing Raptors: Hawks, Owls & Falcons.”
Meet the hawks, owls, and falcons from the Orange County Birds of Prey Center. Participants will learn to identify raptors in flight, dissect an owl pellet, find out how owls fly silently and discover other raptor survival secrets.
A live raptor presentation by Peggy Chase of Birds of Prey for ages 8 and up will be held at 2 p.m. This amazing event will be fun for the entire family. Space is limited. There is a $3 parking fee. For more information visit www.lagunacanyon.org.
