Talk on ‘Common Sense in the Workplace’
Laguna Beach resident Kim Shepherd, chief executive of Irvine’s Decision Toolbox, addresses common sense at work at the Laguna Beach Business Club’s 7:30 a.m. meeting Thursday, April 21, at the Hotel Laguna. Visitors are welcome by reservation.

Ebell Club Heads to the Races
The Ebell Club holds its annual fundraiser on Derby Day, this year Saturday, May 7, and invites the public to join them for a day at the races, watching the 137th Kentucky Derby “live” at Mozambique restaurant while enjoying southern cuisine and a hat contest.
The club’s philanthropy supports local charitable organizations and projects.
